Data deletion
Last updated: 4 October 2026
The Second Look Space tool only connects its owner's own accounts. For each connected account it stores an access token and the account's ID and name, and nothing else (see the privacy policy). Any of the steps below removes the tool's access and deletes what it stored.
- In the Instagram app, open your profile, then the menu, then Settings.
- Choose Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
- Under Active, choose Second Look Space, then Remove.
- On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
- Choose Business integrations (on some versions: Apps and websites).
- Tick Second Look Space and choose Remove.
YouTube
- Open Google Account permissions.
- Choose Second Look Space, then Delete all connections.
Bluesky
- In Bluesky, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords.
- Delete the app password the tool uses.
What happens next
- Removing access stops the tool at once: it can no longer post to that account.
- The tool checks its connections every day. Once two daily checks in a row find the access gone (so within about two days), it deletes the stored token and account details.
- Encrypted backups are kept for 30 days, so the deleted data is gone from every backup within 30 days.
- Videos already posted stay on the platform until you delete them there.
